Earle Communications, Inc.(ECI Telecom)
has been a vendor for Comcast Cable in the Tuscaloosa district
since 1997. They have performed various tasks including installations,
drop burials, wiring MDU units, mapping, addressing, aerial/underground
construction, fiber splicing and design. ECI Telecom subcontractors
and employees are professional and customer friendly. I would
highly recommend their services in any aspect of the cable television
industry.

In my capacity as Plant Manager of Comcast
Dothan/Marianna cable systems, I had the opportunity to work
with Roger Earle and his company ECI Telecom doing a headend
elimination project. ECI was contracted to assist with the trap
changeout, connector replacement, tap audit and installation
portion of the job. Comcast had recently purchased an adjacent
system and was interconnecting the two systems.
Having never worked with Roger or ECI before, I was pleasantly
surprised that they provided much more than expected. ECI’s
pleasant, positive “no nonsense” approach to the
job and his previous experience doing this type of work were
great attributes to the entire project.
It was because of the first job at Comcast in Dothan that I
continued to utilize ECI’s services. They provided Comcast
with much needed at the time drop burials, MDU services, and
also helped with the aftermath of Hurricane Opal replacing and
repairing downed drops.
ECI would be an asset to any project, in whatever capacity.
They have proved time and time again as I have witnessed and
can verify this. Their employees are a positive, forward moving
group that is very well organized and focused on the task at
hand.
